- + Eyrie (M1)
Affectionately called "The Flying Motherboard" by her crews, the ultra-modern Eyrie M1 Class Heavy Lifter is both a Corvette Tender--carrying a dozen Eagle Class M6's into battle on her broad main deck--and a Fleet Carrier, with internal hangar space for forty fighters. Superior to the older Condor class in almost every operational parameter, the Eyrie is not only faster and better shielded, but can mount deadly Teladi Gauss Cannons at almost every hardpoint, in addition to be able to equip the new Split and Paranid beam weapons currently under development. Despite her frankly odd appearance, opponents of any size will do well to not underestimate this lethal new Teladi design.
+ Rook (M2)
The most formidably shielded and armored M2 in the galaxy, the powerful new Teladi Rook Heavy Destroyer is able to absorb positively enormous amounts of damage and keep on fighting. A fairly slow moving, but uber-defensive design, the Rook wins by simply outlasting all opponents in heavy fleet engagements, but is weaker offensively, with a relatively weak weapons generator, but mounting roughly the same number of heavy guns as the Phoenix class. However, unlike Phoenix, the Rook can mount a much broader array of weapon types, including the deadly Teladi Gauss Cannon, Boron Photon Pulse and Ion Cannons, as well as the new Split and Paranid beam weapons currently under development. Due to her handicap of weak weapons energy, Rook commanders must make extensive use of the ammo-based Gauss Cannon to remain competitive offensively. While extremely effective as a heavy brawler that never quits fighting, the Rook is creating extreme controversy within the Teladi Corporation's ship procurement unit due to her high price tag, which deeply offends the Teladi's miserly sense of military frugality.
+ Saker (M7)
The superb new Teladi Saker Sentinel Armored Frigate has half the firepower and three-quarters the shielding of a Phoenix class cruiser - at less than half the price. Utilizing the new ultra-light organo-ceramic armor, the Saker Sentinel has almost double the hull integrity of the older Shrike and Tern Frigates, as well as possessing twice their effective shield strength. The logic behind the design is that two Sakers - "Wild Hawks" - have the same firepower as a Phoenix, but with much greater overall survivability. The catch is that a Saker Sentinel must use ammo-based Gauss Cannons in her main turrets to stay competitive with the Phoenix, as she is fitted with the same somewhat weak weapons generator system as her sisters Tern and Shrike. Armed with Gauss Cannons the Saker is theoretically capable of outfighting and outlasting any other M7 in the galaxy in a one-to-one duel. But if swarmed with fighters, her powerplant will not be able to keep energy-hungry Flak cannons effectively powered. Most of Saker’s offensive power is concentrated in four heavy turrets: up, down, port, and starboard. Four quad "light flak" turrets on her bow and stern, armed with Phased Repeater Guns provide additional defense against fighters. A powerful and solid brawler, the Saker Sentinel Armored Frigate sets the new galactic standard for frigate survivability.
+ Eagle (M6P)
Recognizing the vulnerabilities of the slow and un-maneuverable Osprey series to enemy fighters, the Naval Planning Commission of the Teladi Corporation have produced the new Teladi Eagle M6+ Class Corvette as a replacement. Slightly faster than the Osprey, the Eagle has roughly half her turning radius, giving her vastly improved effectiveness against enemy heavy fighters and corvettes. More importantly, Eagle carries 2Gj of shielding, giving her enormous combat endurance, and has three enhanced anti-fighter turrets for improved peripheral defense. Unlike the older Ospreys, Eagle can carry a single externally mounted fighter into battle. Using many of the weapon and shield generators as the more modern Heavy Osprey to reduce production costs, smart investors are betting on Eagle to completely reinvigorate morale within the currently disheartened Teladi Corporation's Corvette Corps.
+ NuuBari Raven (TL)
The massive Teladi NuuBari "Raven" TL is now the galaxy’s largest Heavy Lifter, as well as its most expensive. She's the answer to the joke: "What do you get when you a cross a TL, M1, and M2?". NuuBari, which means "Raven" in Old Teladi, is a mysterious design rumored to be of alien origin, that has a massive armored hull, a huge internal hangar, and an enormous cargo bay. Slower than the older Albatross class, she can mount heavy guns at many of her hard points, including the dreaded Gauss Cannon, but lacks weapon power generation for sustained energy weapon use. Extremely well shielded for a TL class vessel, a fully crewed and equipped NuuBari has firepower close to that of a Condor, with carrying capacity greater than that of a Mammoth. Her enormous price tag will no doubt limit the degree to which she is deployed by the Teladi Corporation and its subsidiaries.
+ Gorith (M3P)
Like her smaller sister Darkship, the new Teladi Gorith M3+ Class Very Heavy Fighter is also rumored to be an alien design, from a galaxy far, far away. Designed as a replacement for her chief rival, the Enhanced Kea, Gorith uses the same shield and weapons generators, but surpasses the Kea series in most other performance criteria. Like the smaller Darkship, Gorith has a similar hull form, that while enabling superior speed and handling, supports less armoring and little cargo volume. Gorith can mount many foreign weapon types, including Mass Drivers, Ion Disrupters, and even Terran EMPC’s. Quite unusually for a fighter, she can also mount Concussion Impulse Generators. So far only adopted by Teladi Naval Intelligence, Gorith, despite her many strengths has not yet been fully embraced by the Teladi military.
+ Darkship (M3)
Created to finally provide the Teladi Corporation with a fast, yet well-shielded M3 Class Interceptor, the Darkship is rumored to be an alien design from a galaxy far, far away. Using the same shield and weapons generators as the Falcon Prototype, the Darkship is superior in almost every respect, except inferior hull integrity and a much smaller cargo hold. Unlike the Falcon variants, Darkship can use a few foreign weapon varieties like Ion Disrupters, Mass Drivers, and even the Terran EMPC. A radical departure from the slow but heavily-shielded traditional Teladi design ethos, Darkship is creating quite a stir within Commonwealth military circles.
+ Talon (M4)
Barely out of prototype testing, the brand new Teladi Talon is a superior M4+ Medium Fighter design made with ultra-modern components from the Kite series and a new secret hull armor alloy. Blindingly fast by Teladi standards, she leaves the more heavily shielded Kite Vanguard M4+ in the dust. With a back anti-missile turret, and advanced weapon options, this superb new medium fighter is proving extremely popular with Teladi pilots; while her price has made her quite popular with the Budget Committee of the Teladi Corporation.
+ Y-Wing (M4)
The Teladi Y-Wing represents a serious qualitative improvement over the aging Buzzard. The Y-Wing's excellent speed and superior shield and weapons generators more than compensate for her reduced shielding, which is 25% below most Buzzard variants. While still not as fast as the raider variants of many M4 craft of other races, the Y-Wing's superior performance and increased missile capabilities represent a giant leap forward in Teladi medium fighter design. Rumors exist that pirate intelligence operatives recently stole the schematics of the production release Y-Wing. If true, this news could spell serious trouble for the merchant fleets and navies of all five races.
+ A-Wing Raider(M5)
“A powerful new Light Interceptor of unknown origin, the Teladi A-Wing is ideally suited to hunting enemy medium fighters. Unlike the Teladi's speedy Kestrel, A-Wing lacks the speed to catch M5's--but M4's are a different story. With unsurpassed shielding and weapons power for an M5 class craft, the A-Wing can take down enemy M4's and M4+'s with ease, and at a fraction of their cost. Considerably more expensive than other M5's, the Teladi Corporation is banking on A-Wing's unique capabiliites to make her worth the investment."
+ Cormorant (TP)
Technically a Transport Class (TP) vessel, the swift new Teladi Cormorant Light Capture Corvette is in reality has capabilities somewhere between those of a Corvette and a TP. Carrying a complement of ten Teladi Space Acquisition Commandos complete with Boarding Pods, the Cormorant can theoretically single-handedly commandeer any conventionally crewed Corvette or TL in the galaxy. With 50% the shielding of an Osprey class Corvette, and roughly half the offensive firepower, the Cormorant needs to pick her battles with care. Retrofitted to carry black-market Boron shield disruption weaponry in her forward battery, Cormorant lacks the hull integrity to use the Ion Shard Railgun weaponry becoming standard in heavier corvettes, and only mounts light anti-fighter weaponry in her turrets. Cormorant's role is to capture prey--not kill, and to this end it's rumored that Teladi Naval Intelligence is the only Teladi service branch issued Cormorant class vessels, using them only for the kidnapping or capture of high value enemy military personnel.
+ Osiris (TM)
The Teladi Osiris Heavy Fighter Transport is a large and versatile new TM Class vessel, that carries eight fighters--double the galactic average--and yet is capable of station docking. With an armored hull, a very roomy cargo bay, and strong shielding, the Osiris is both perfect companion for Osprey and Eagle class corvettes, or as a stand-alone escort for freighter convoys. Armed with four anti-fighter turrets as well as a full complement of heavy and medium missile types, the Osiris class has outstanding defensive capabilities for a TM class ship.
+ Egret (TS)
An extremely affordable smaller alternative to the new Vulture Prototype, the new Teladi Egret TS Class Freighter is currently the fastest member of the Teladi Merchant Fleet. Sacrificing hull strength, and adding the latest generation of ultra-modern engines and power generators, gives Egret exceptional speed. Add a dual rear anti-fighter turret, a 5k cargo hold, and a price slightly below that of the original Vulture model, and you've got a small sized freighter of exceptional value. When your cargo needs to arrive safely, at cost, and on time, smart shippers choose the Teladi Egret.
+ Egret (TS-SF)
Designed to offer far greater survivability than existing Vulture Super-freighter variants, the new Teladi Egret Super-freighter is also very competitively priced. In an era of escalating Kha'ak, Xenon and corsair activity, the bigger variants of the Vulture line are just too vulnerable to capture or destruction due to their slow speed. Slightly faster than the much smaller Vulture Miner, the Egret Super-freighter uses a more heavily armored version of the hull-form of her smaller sister, the Egret Freighter. Unlike her little sister, the Egret Super-freighter sports two defensive turrets, a robust weapons generator, and missile launch capabilities similar to the Osprey corvette. The new favorite among long-haul and independent trader Teladi merchants, the Egret Super-freighter easily out flies all competition.
